Our client, a highly respected and forward-thinking law firm with offices in Stratford-upon-Avon and Birmingham, is seeking an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor (4+ PQE) to join their accomplished Commercial Litigation team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work on complex, high-value cases within a collaborative and dynamic environment.

The Role

The Commercial Litigation Solicitor will manage a varied caseload of commercial disputes while providing expert legal advice and representation. You will work closely with clients to protect their interests at every stage of the legal process and play a vital role in the firm's growth by engaging in business development activities.

This role would particularly suit:
  • A solicitor with 4+ years of PQE in commercial litigation and a proven track record of managing complex cases.
  • A commercially aware professional with strong communication and advocacy skills, focused on delivering outstanding client service.
  • Someone who thrives in a dynamic, collaborative environment and is keen to contribute to business development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Handling a diverse caseload, including contract disputes, shareholder conflicts, and professional negligence claims.
  • Providing strategic advice to clients, outlining risks, strategies, and likely outcomes.
  • Representing clients in court and alternative dispute resolution forums, including arbitration and mediation.
  • Drafting and reviewing key legal documents, such as pleadings, witness statements, and settlement agreements.
  • Conducting detailed legal research to guide case strategy and decision-making.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships with regular communication and updates.
  • Staying abreast of changes in commercial law to ensure high-quality legal advice.
  • Engaging in networking and business development activities to promote the firm and secure new clients.
