A unique opportunity has emerged for a Professional Support Lawyer to become part of a leading Employment, Pensions and Immigration team. The successful candidate will join a team that advises some of the UK's largest and most reputable employers, reflecting the high calibre of service provided.
What you'll do:
As a Professional Support Lawyer, you will be responsible for keeping clients informed with the latest developments in employment law. You will be keeping up-to-date with trends in employment law and need to proactively address potential legal issues.
As a PSL you will:
- Update Website with the latest developments in employment law
- Maintain the firm's employment document library with minimal supervision
- Develop client-facing tools and training programmes
- Stay informed about trends in employment law and proactively address potential legal issues
- Create and maintain best practice guides and knowledge resources
- Write and edit guidance notes, precedents, checklists and provide practical advice to employment lawyers
- Support on a wide range of projects as required
What you bring:
The ideal candidate for this Professional Support Lawyer role is someone who brings proven experience as an Employment lawyer with a strong background in Employment Law. Your excellent drafting, research, and communication skills will be essential in this role. You should have the ability to write about, present and train others in relation to legal developments. A high level of interpersonal skills is required as you'll be working collaboratively with a range of people. A pragmatic and commercial approach to legal problem-solving is also necessary.
