The Role
This position offers you the opportunity to work on a diverse range of Employment cases on behalf of businesses, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, TUPE and whistleblowing.
Responsibilities include:
- Advising and representing clients across Employment disciplines
- Communicating effectively with clients, opponents and relevant third parties
- Managing claims within various legal frameworks, such as employment tribunals and civil courts
- Supporting insurers with claims handling and policy coverage considerations
- Collaborating with colleagues to deliver timely and high-quality legal services
- Supervising and delegating tasks to paralegals, trainees, and support staff
You
The ideal candidate will have:
- Qualification as a solicitor or equivalent
- 2+ years of experience managing a varied Employment caseload
- Strong knowledge of Employment law and related practices
- Proficiency with IT systems such as Word, Outlook, and case management tools
- The ability to work independently while thriving in a team environment
Desirable skills include:
- Experience in insurance litigation and familiarity with policy-related issues
- Knowledge of case management systems
