We at Simpson Judge are currently working with a global top tier law firm who are looking to bring in an associate/senior associate Employment solicitor. This role will involve working a varied set of clients, including local and national enterprises as well as global corporations, emphasising business transformation initiatives, corporate transactions, and employment-related legal disputes.

The Role:

  • Advising clients on all aspects of employment law, including contentious and non-contentious matters.
  • Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
  • Representing clients in Employment Tribunal claims and mediations.
  • You will also have a chance to work with colleague based in their international offices on cross-border issues.
  • Providing strategic advice on complex employment issues, including restructuring, redundancy, and Senior workplace disputes (discrimination and whistleblowing)
  • Collaborating with colleagues across different practice areas to deliver integrated solutions to clients.
  • Engaging in business development and networking to enhance client relationships and contribute to the growth of the firm.
  • You will also have chance to assist clients in providing solutions in M&A (corporate advisoy)

About you:

  • Qualified Solicitor with 2-8 years of post-qualification experience in employment law (desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and practical experience in a range of employment matters.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal concepts clearly.
  • A proactive and client-focused approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independence.
