Employment Associate – Top 100 Law FirmBirmingham An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Employment Associate to join a highly regarded Employment team at a Top 100 law firm in Birmingham. This is a full-time, flexible working role, ideal for a solicitor with 1-3 years’ PQE looking to develop their career in a supportive and dynamic environment.The Role As a key member of the team, you will handle a high-quality and varied caseload, working closely with partners and colleagues on a range of employment matters, including:
  • Employment tribunal claims – predominantly acting for Respondents.
  • Advising employers on workplace issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, restructures, and redundancies.
  • Drafting employment documentation, including contracts, settlement agreements, consultancy agreements, and staff handbooks.
  • Enforcing post-termination restrictive covenants.
  • Supporting clients with outsourcing contracts, contract drafting, and training.
You will be:-
  • A qualified solicitor with 1-4 years’ PQE in employment law.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness and an enthusiasm for business development.
  • A proactive and ambitious team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment.
  • A client-focused approach, ensuring the highest standards of service.
