An exciting opportunity has arisen at a prestigious Legal 500 law firm, consistently recognised among The Times Best Law Firms, to join a dynamic Housing Management team in Birmingham. The firm is renowned for expertise in sectors such as housing, local government, health and social care, and have ambitious plans for growth.
Role Overview:
This Housing Management Solicitor role involves advising social landlords and other organisations on a range of housing management issues. Key responsibilities include handling:
- Disrepair and injunction claims
- Equality Act 2010 and Mental Capacity Act 2005 cases
- Breach of tenancy and possession claims
- Access injunctions for safety
- Service charge disputes and leasehold management
Requirements:
- Previous experience in housing law, ideally for social landlords
- Confidence in client interactions and managing expectations
- Strong drafting, organisational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team
- Commitment to the social housing sector
