A highly regarded national Legal 500 law firm, renowned for its excellence in family law, is seeking a motivated and dedicated Family Solicitor to join its team. This role is an excellent opportunity if you are a newly qualified solicitor or one with up to 2 years of post-qualification experience (NQ-2 PQE) to develop your career within a supportive and reputable environment.

The Role:

You will handle a mixed caseload of both private and legal aid family matters, working on diverse and challenging cases. Responsibilities include:

  • Advising and representing clients in family law matters, including divorce, child arrangements, and domestic abuse cases
  • Conducting advocacy in court
  • Managing cases efficiently, ensuring compliance with legal aid requirements where applicable
  • Delivering high standards of client care and maintaining strong client relationships
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the firm to provide integrated legal services

You:

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Qualification as a solicitor, from NQ to 2 years of post-qualification experience in family law
  • Prior exposure to legal aid family work
  • Advocacy experience
  • Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • A client-focused approach and the ability to work empathetically with individuals facing sensitive issues
