An exciting opportunity has arisen for a UK qualified Solicitor with construction law experience based in the West Midlands.  As Legal Counsel, you'll integrate into the expanding legal function of this leading UK building contractor and work alongside the General Counsel in the business' legal function to advise the wider business on any required legal issues. There will be an expectation to work with internal and external stakeholders on a variety of construction projects and advise where required with regards to project tenders across a variety of industries.  As a small team, there will be a requirement to assist colleagues in other areas of non-contentious related queries so a 'can do' attitude is essential.   This opportunity is open to UK qualified solicitors from 3+ PQE with experience in Construction law. A background in reviewing tenders (main contract terms, framework agreements, collateral warranties and PCG's) is essential as well as the drafting and reviewing of Commercial contracts for both the private and public sectors. You’ll play a crucial role in the wider success of the Group business, with ample opportunity to grow and develop within the function. We seek a proactive and self-motivated individual who has a proven track record of challenging the status quo and improving processes.
