Legal Counsel - 6 month FTC
Well known employer with a legal team of 5 is looking to recruit a mid-senior commercial lawyer to join the team on a 6 month contract to support legal activity as they kick off a number if key business projects.
Although Head Office is Birmingham city centre you will only need to be in the office once a week so location is pretty flexible with the role being largely home based.
The role will support a friendly, collegiate legal team under the guidance of a well regarded GC and will cover a range of activities
- Commercial Contracts including outsourcing, procurement, IT agreements
- Compliance and regulation including Data Protection, Marketing etc
- Advising external legal teams and being part of internal project teams on key initiatives
- Ad-hoc legal advice to stakeholders on risk management, contract approvals, etc
With 3+ years PQE you will be able to work independently but lean on the team when needed
- You must have a proactive approach, be a key problem solver and enjoy making a difference as part of a team
- An inquisitive mind will really help
Salary is 70-80k (FTE) plus other benefits including a strong pension, 28 (FTE) days hols, free parking in Birmingham etc
