JOB TITLE: Legal Counsel (Construction)PQE REQUIRED: 4+LOCATION: West MidlandsSALARY: To £85K + car allowance + bonusTHE ROLE: Due to business growth an opportunity has arisen for an additional Legal Counsel to join our clients legal team. As part of a small but strong legal team you will be at the very heart of the business advising on legal issues and reducing risk. The role will include;

Working with a range of stakeholders across the business on construction projects.
Reviewing tenders (including framework agreements, main contract terms and collateral warranties).
Assisting in negotiating and agreeing terms with the business’ supply chain, as well as advising on the early stages of disputes.
Providing assistance to other members of the legal team outside the core areas of your responsibility.
Assisting the other members of the legal team on wider strategic projects..

THE CANDIDATE: Ideal candidates will be:

Qualified Solicitors with 4+ years’ PQE
Have experience in drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts involving both public and private sector parties
Experience in advising on construction projects
