Are you a motivated Planning Solicitor looking to advance your career? This highly reputable Legal 200 law firm is expanding its specialist Planning Law team in Birmingham City Centre and is seeking a talented Solicitor with 3-5 years’ PQE.

The team

Led by a national expert in Section 106 agreements and the Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL), the team advises NHS trusts, CCGs, landowners, developers, and local authorities on a wide range of planning law matters. Our expertise covers:? Section 106 agreements & CIL – securing public authority contributions? Town & Country Planning Act – navigating complex regulations? Planning enforcement & judicial reviews – expert legal representation? Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) – strategic guidance

The role

You will come on board as a Planning Solicitor and hit the ground running on your own caseload of matters with support from other members of the team. 

The person

  • Qualified Solicitor with 3-5 years’ PQE 
  • Applicants from Commercial Real Estate, Licensing, or Environment might be considered if there is a genuine interest in transitioning to planning 
  • Keen to get involved in business development and networking opportunities 
  • Team player
