Description
The Private Client Locum Solicitor will be:
- Managing a full caseload of private client matters, including wills, probate, lasting powers of attorney, and trusts.
- Advising clients on estate planning, inheritance tax, and succession planning.
- Drafting legal documents such as wills, trust deeds, and related correspondence.
- Handling probate administration, including grant applications and estate distribution.
- Liaising with clients, financial advisors, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Profile
The Private Client Locum Solicitor should be:
- A solicitor or equivalent with 5+ years PQE in private client work.
- Experienced in managing estates, including those with higher-net-worth elements.
- Knowledgeable about inheritance tax and trust law would be advantageous.
- Organised, client-focused, and capable of working independently in a hybrid setup.
- Ready to start immediately and commit to an ongoing contract.
