Private Client Fee Earner - Leading Law Firm

Our client, a highly regarded and forward-thinking law firm based in Stratford-upon-Avon, is seeking an experienced Private Client Fee Earner (5+ PQE) to join their accomplished Trust and Tax team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a high net worth client base, including landed estates, within a supportive and dynamic environment.

The Role

The Private Client Fee Earner will manage a varied caseload focused on trust and estate administration, providing expert legal advice and support to an existing client base. You will play a pivotal role in maintaining and strengthening relationships with high net worth individuals and families, while contributing to the growth and success of the department.

This role would particularly suit:

  • A solicitor or CILEX-qualified professional with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in private client work.
  • Someone with STEP qualification (or working towards it), with a strong understanding of trust taxation.
  • A motivated individual with excellent case management skills and a desire to continually develop their expertise.
  • A commercially aware professional with exceptional client relationship and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the administration of trusts and estates for a high net worth client base, including landed estates.
  • Providing clear, focused advice on trust taxation and related matters.
  • Drafting and reviewing key legal documents related to trust and estate administration.
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members to promote a collaborative working environment.
  • Maintaining and strengthening existing client relationships while building new ones.
  • Staying updated on developments in trust taxation and private client law.
