About the Role
A Legal 500 Birmingham law firm is seeking a Private Client Solicitor or Associate to join its well-established and supportive team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work on a broad range of matters, including Wills, Powers of Attorney, Probate, Estate Planning, and Trusts, while benefiting from strong centralised support and development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing a mixed caseload of wills, estate administration, and Powers of Attorney.
- Drafting documents such as Wills, Declarations of Trusts, and Deeds of Variation.
- Providing tailored advice on inheritance tax and estate planning.
- Collaborating with other teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions.
- Developing technical expertise in estate and tax planning (STEP/SFE membership beneficial but not essential).
About You:
The ideal candidate will be:
- A qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2+ PQE
- Experienced in drafting Wills, administering estates, and providing inheritance tax advice.
- Familiar with creating and managing Trusts.
- Proficient with IT systems and case management tools.
- Skilled at risk management and comfortable handling a varied caseload.
- Positive, solution-focused, and eager to contribute to a multi-skilled team.
