Property Litigation Solicitor – Birmingham

Are you an experienced Property Litigation Solicitor looking for an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, dynamic law firm with a strong reputation in the regional market? We’re looking for a talented Solicitor to join a well-established team of 14 legal professionals at our city-centre office.

About Us:

A forward-thinking regional law firm known for its strong, supportive culture and commitment to delivering exceptional legal services. The Property Litigation department works on complex and high-value cases, providing an opportunity to make a real impact within the team.

The Role:

As a Property Litigation Solicitor, you will play a key role in supporting the Head of Department and mentoring Junior Solicitors. The position involves working on a range of commercial property litigation matters, including dilapidation claims, tenancy disputes and easement issues. You’ll also assist in crossover responsibilities within real estate matters such as lease renewals.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Department in managing the property litigation team
  • Train, mentor and provide guidance to junior solicitors
  • Manage a caseload of commercial property litigation cases
  • Handle tenancy disputes, dilapidation claims, right of way and easement issues
  • Assist in managing lease renewal matters and related real estate responsibilities

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary range: (negotiable based on experience)
  • Bonus scheme offering an additional £10,000
  • Option for hybrid working (2 days from home after the 6-month probationary period)
  • 25 days annual leave + public holidays

About You:

  • 5 to 7 years PQE preferred, but candidates with strong commercial property litigation experience (4 years PQE) will also be considered
  • Proven experience handling complex property litigation cases with a high volume of matters
  • Leadership or management experience is ideal but not mandatory
  • Ability to meet annual billing target of 1,250 hours
