Title: Real Estate Finance (Senior Associate) Lawyer 4+PQELocation: Birmingham

Salary: £80-90,000 DOE.

Our client is currently seeking a skilled Real Estate Finance Lawyer to join their reputable Tier 1 team based in Birmingham.

As a member of their Real Estate Finance Team, you will work collaboratively with their Real Estate Group, representing banks and financial institutions involved in property lending. This includes investment and development finance across various real estate asset classes. Additionally, you will work with a diverse range of borrowers and sponsors within the real estate market.

The role will include but not be limited to advising lenders and borrowers in relation to property funding:

  • Negotiating, reviewing and settling loan agreements, debentures, mortgages, guarantees, deeds of priority and subordination;
  • Settling deferred consideration or overage charges;
  • Reviewing/drafting reports on title and certificates on title;
  • Drafting board minutes and corporate approvals;
  • Marshalling conditions precedent to drawdown to include liaising with property and construction colleagues.
