The RoleRobert Walters is excited to represent a top-tier UK law firm seeking a dynamic and motivated Real Estate Finance Solicitor (NQ-3yr PQE) to join their Birmingham-based Property Finance team. This position is ideal for an ambitious individual looking to work within a progressive firm known for its creativity, commerciality, and client-focused approach.

The OpportunityAs part of a highly regarded multidisciplinary Real Estate group, you'll join a well established teams in the West Midlands, comprising lawyers, town planners, and other experts in development, investment and property finance. The team serves clients across sectors such as energy, housing, education, and investment funds, with extensive experience advising banks, building societies, property investors, and developers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting experienced lawyers across a broad range of Property Finance matters
  • Handling a caseload that includes both complex and straightforward deals
  • Managing cases within strict service-level agreements, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  • Maintaining close client contact and handling professional interactions with clients and third parties
  • Upholding good file management practices, including electronic and paper storage

Skills and Experience Required

  • 6 months + experience in a Real Estate Finance role (or relevant training experience for Newly Qualified candidates)
  • Proficiency in IT skills, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel, with experience in using case management systems
  • Good file management and understanding of office financial procedures
