Oliver James are partnered with an esteemed leader in the Insurance industry, who are recruiting for an experienced Risk Manager to join their Midlands office. For this role, you will be required to work in the office 2 days a week and 3 days at home.

This role will report into the Senior Risk Manager where you will be supporting in an ERM risk role, focusing on the operation of the risk management framework.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Taking lead on risk assessments and implementing strategies.
  • Maintain and update the risk register software.
  • Identify new and emerging risks.
  • Supporting with ORSA's.
  • Ensuring collaboration with the wider risk management team.
  • Maintain relationships with key stake holders.

Key Skills:

  • Experience within operational risk, specifically within Insurance.
  • Knowledge of the London Insurance Market is advantageous.
  • Strong Risk Management experience.
  • Proven track record of managing risk assessments.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to be pro- active and work in a dynamic environment.
