Are you an experienced Behavioural Lead looking for a new opportunity in Birmingham?

Winner Education are working closely with a school just outside of the Birmingham city centre in assisting them with the recruitment of a dedicated Pastoral Manager. The role is full time and will be required to start immediately to cover a staff members absence until the end of the school with the potential to continue into January 2025.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support children at KS3 and KS4 level with Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges (SEMH)
  • Build strong professional relationships with the pupils to enhance their education
  • Liaise with parents inside and outside of school
  • Liaise with external agencies
  • Maintain a strong relationship with the school’s SENCO

The Successful Pastoral Manager will:

  • Need to be highly organised
  • Have a clear understanding of pastoral issues and needs
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate resilience and positive mind-set
  • Be able to form positive relationships with all staff and parents
