Legal Administrator – Birmingham
A prestigious Legal 500 regional firm based in Ward End, Birmingham is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Legal Administrator to join its Conveyancing team.
In this role, the successful candidate will provide essential administrative support to conveyancers and legal secretaries, ensuring the smooth operation of day-to-day processes. The Role:
- Providing administrative assistance to Conveyancers and Legal Secretaries, including file management and document preparation
- Assisting with the opening, closing and archiving of client files in line with compliance procedures
- Managing correspondence with Clients, Solicitors and Third Parties
- Organising and maintaining accurate records, both electronic and paper-based
- Supporting diary management, scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
- Handling incoming calls and emails, ensuring queries are directed to the appropriate team members
- Assisting with billing, invoicing and other financial administrative tasks
- Ensuring all work complies with GDPR and internal data protection policies
About You:
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and case management systems
- A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
- Previous experience in a legal or professional services environment (preferred but not essential)
