Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive Legal Secretary to support their team. This role will be based in their Birmingham office, with hybrid working available (3 days in-office per week).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage diaries, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel and events.
  • Draft, format, and proofread documents (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF).
  • Organise and maintain document management systems.
  • Handle general administrative tasks, including manuscript amendments and compliance-related duties.
  • Liaise with clients, colleagues, and external parties.
  • Prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple workloads efficiently.
  • Maintain confidentiality and demonstrate discretion at all times.

Experience and Skills Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience as a secretary, ideally in a corporate or professional services environment.
  • Strong document management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with diary management and travel booking is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
