- Provide comprehensive secretarial support to fee earners, including diary management, document preparation, and client liaison.
- Type and prepare correspondence, legal documents, and forms with a high degree of accuracy.
- Assist with the administration of wills, probate, and trusts, ensuring compliance with legal procedures.
- Manage client records, filing systems, and correspondence efficiently.
- Handle telephone and email inquiries from clients and external parties in a professional manner.
- Ensure attention to detail in all aspects of document preparation and filing.
- 1-2 years' experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within a Private Client department.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a professional and confident telephone manner.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail in all work.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
