Role: Pool Legal Secretary 

Location: Birmingham, Edgebaston 

Job type: Full time, Permanent 

Salary: £24,000 - £25,000 

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Create, format, and edit various legal documents and correspondence with precision.
  • Organise and maintain diaries, schedule appointments, meetings, and manage calendars for the legal team.
  • Handle billing processes, prepare and process invoices to ensure timely and accurate billing.
  • Open and close client files with meticulous attention, managing all documentation from initiation to completion.
  • Maintain and update records, ensuring compliance with legal standards and regulations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for clients, responding to enquiries promptly and providing information and assistance as needed.
  • Support the legal team with various administrative tasks and case-related work, including handling phone enquiries.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • High degree of self-management and initiative, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
  • Strong organisational skills, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication abilities, with strong verbal and written skills and a professional demeanour.
