Your ability to manage transactions efficiently and correspond professionally with clients and third parties will make you an indispensable part of the team.

Key Responsibilities:•    Support fee earners with residential property transactions from instruction to completion for both freehold and leasehold properties.•    Assist with the initial onboarding of clients, including reviewing AML and ID documents.•    Prepare, draft, and issue contract packs and supporting legal documents.•    Progress sale files by addressing enquiries, liaising with clients and third parties, and responding promptly.•    Conduct property searches and draft completion statements.•    Manage the exchange of contracts and ensure timely completion of transactions.•    Handle post-completion formalities, including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.•    Adhere to the file closing process, including the distribution of surplus funds.•    Correspond with clients, third parties, and agents via telephone, written correspondence, and in person.•    Perform general supportive duties as assigned by the fee earner.•    Maintain case files and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. 

Requirements:•    Experience in residential property, ideally as a Legal Secretary or Assistant.•    Familiarity with Infotrack, Case Management Systems, Laserforms, and the Land Registry and SDLT Portals is desirable, but full training will be provided.•    Ability to hit the ground running and work closely with experienced lawyers on interesting residential property work.
