Our client in Birmingham City Centre is looking for an experienced Legal Assistant to join their fun and vibrant team due to continued business growth!

Benefits:

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 am to 5:00 pm (1-hour lunch break).
  • 33 days holiday (including bank holidays).

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide legal support in Public Law matters, including judicial reviews, human rights cases, community care, and regulatory law.
  • Deliver efficient, cost-effective legal support to clients, team members, and directors.
  • Manage and maintain accurate case records on the firm's system (ALB), ensuring all key dates are recorded and tracked.
  • Participate in firm-provided training for continuous professional development.
  • Handle client communications sensitively, especially for vulnerable clients, and actively engage in business development and marketing activities.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Proven experience in Public Law, with a strong understanding of areas like judicial review and community care.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, document management, and case management systems, especially ALB.
  • Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to address sensitive issues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High attention to detail and adherence to compliance standards, including GDPR and Data Protection Act requirements.
