An established and friendly team in Birmingham City Centre is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal. This role is an excellent opportunity for individuals committed to a career in Personal Injury (PI) law and eager to handle a caseload of l claims while supporting senior team members with complex cases. Job type Full time, permanent

Day to Day of the Role:

  • Manage your own caseload of PI claims.
  • Assist senior team members with the preparation and management of more complex cases.
  • Engage with clients, building rapport and trust through excellent communication.
  • Run claims through the OIC portal and understand the litigation process.
  • Produce schedule of loss statements, take witness statements, and assess/redact bank statements.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve collective goals and provide support when needed.
  • Focus on personal learning and development within the PI and Clinical Negligence field.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years’ experience as a Paralegal or in a similar role.
  • At least 1 year’s experience in Personal Injury and/or Clinical Negligence, ideally managing your own caseload.
  • Knowledge of the OIC portal and litigation process.
  • Excellent telephone manner and client service skills.
  • Eagerness to take responsibility and a friendly, approachable nature.
  • Collaborative work ethic and commitment to ongoing learning and development.
  • Strong attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines and targets.
  • Strong IT skills.
