Lisa Wright Recruitment has a fantastic opportunity for a Paralegal to join the Birmingham office of a successful law firm. We are seeking a candidate who can provide solid administrative support to the plot sales team while displaying an appreciation of legal procedures.
Paralegal Key Responsibilities:
Fee earner task will include:
- Producing legal documentation as required
- Drafting basic deeds, documents and letters
- Drafting financial statements
- Undertaking basic correspondence and telephone calls on client matters
- Engaging in legal research as appropriate
Administrative tasks will include:
- Efficient management of client/matter files
- Provide administrative support as required by the team
- Operate case management system including storing documents electronically
- Manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls and e-mails
- Ensure the confidentiality of all Company’s and clients’ documentation and information
- Monitoring compliance and Lexcel requirements
- Assist with good financial management, as and when appropriate
- Assist with reception of clients and arrangement of meetings
Skills Required:
- Good IT skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organise workload especially under pressure
- Attention to detail
- Evidence of good customer-facing skills
- Enthusiastic 'can-do' attitude
- Ability to work alone using initiative or part of a team.
