Are you an experienced Legal Assistant with a strong background in Private Client matters?
Do you thrive in a dynamic and professional environment? If so, we have an excellent opportunity just outside of Birmingham City Centre for a Private Client Legal Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full administrative support to our Private Client Solicitors to ensure efficient operation
- Prepare correspondence and documentation using our case management system
- Assist and communicate with clients both over the phone and in person
- Manage filing systems, including opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files
- Handle mail and enclosures for dispatch
- Arrange scanning and photocopying of paperwork
- Carry out additional duties as required to support the team
Key Requirements:
- Experience and knowledge of working within a Private Client department
- Ability to use initiative, conduct searches, complete ID checks and handle file-related tasks without dictation
- High levels of speed and accuracy in work
- Strong telephone manner and confidence in dealing with clients both in person and over the phone
- Highly organised, methodical and adaptable approach to tasks
