Intervenors Required – Supporting Pupil with PMLD Needs

I am seeking two dedicated and compassionate Intervenors to work collaboratively in supporting a pupil with Profound and Multiple Learning Disabilities (PMLD) within the family home. The successful candidates will deliver a range of engaging, multi-sensory activities planned and overseen by a Qualified Teacher of Children and Young People with Multi-Sensory Impairments (QTSMSI).

This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference by providing personalised support, fostering communication, and promoting sensory and developmental progress. You will work closely with the family and specialist professionals to create a positive and stimulating environment that meets the pupil’s complex needs.

Key Requirements:

• Experience working with children/young people with PMLD and sensory impairments is desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A caring, patient, and flexible approach.
• Ability to follow and adapt activity plans to suit individual needs.

Location: Selly Oak, Birmingham

Hours: 2.00pm until 7.00pm | Monday to Friday

Pay: £23 per hour
