Do you currently work within the Door Industry and have a passion for Field Service Engineering? A leading loading bay and shutter manufacturer has a newly created Door Engineer opportunity for someone with a background within their industry. You will be covering the Birmingham & West Midlands Areas. The company offer a full training and development program, where you will be buddied up with another member of the team and learn how things are done. On offer is an impressive base salary of 40,000 (54K OTE) in your first year, a modern fully racked company van, PDA & mobile phone is on offer with premium overtime paid. Your job will involve the following:
- Service, maintenance and installation of industrial roller shutters, sectional, fast action, and overhead doors.
- Dock leveller, loading bay equipment and scissor lift maintenance.
- Spotting sales opportunities.
- Electrical and mechanical Engineering fault finding.
- Delivering good customer service.
If any of the following applies to your experience please apply.
- You MUST have previous Electrical, service, maintenance or installation engineering experience within the industrial door industry or similar AND hold a 17th or 18th Edition electrical qualification.
- An IPAF, PASMA, CSCS, BS7036, EN16005, SSTS card with experience working in a similar role.
- Roller-shutter, sectional, loading bay, fast action, wicket gates or scissor lift experience.
