This Mortgage Area Director role is suited to individuals experienced in managing a team of Mortgage Advisers. You will be joining a national mortgage brokerage with continued growth plans.

You will inherit a team of existing Mortgage Advisers in the Midlands with the goal of growing your team with other Mortgage Advisers. The business focuses on providing mortgage and protection advice to clients, plus Advisers can be licensed to offer commercial mortgages, equity release and business protection.

As a Mortgage Area Director your responsibilities will include:

  • Growing your team through recruiting other self-employed Mortgage Advisers from your own efforts and introductions from internal enquiries and recruitment agencies
  • Retaining current Mortgage Advisers through providing the right support to enable them to thrive
  • Ensuring compliance standards are maintained throughout your team
  • Work closely with the Directors to achieve company objectives
  • Champion the recommended sales process to promote consistent, high quality, customer focused work
  • Identify and act on training needs
  • Deliver a challenging and rewarding environment enabling Advisers to add value, develop and achieve their goals
  • Encourage uptake of referral activity across various referral partnerships

Your team will consist of self-employed Mortgage Advisers, therefore you will regularly be assisting current and existing team members with developing and delivering on their business plans.

Mortgage Area Director Requirements

  • You should have 2+ years of current sales management experience within mortgages
  • You should have full CeMAP and have regulatory supervision experience
  • Ideally, you should have managed self-employed Advisers
  • Ideally, you should have experience of recruiting Advisers

The Company

This leading name in the mortgage profession has a team of near 500 Mortgage Advisors. They are keen to develop their team of remote home based Advisors who receive full business development support.

Mortgage Area Director Benefits

  • Salary of £45,000 - £60,000 plus company car or car allowance
  • OTE of £100,000 - £115,000
