- Efficiently managing and coordinating the logistics team.
- Ensuring timely delivery of resources to various departments.
- Implementing and maintaining logistics procedures and systems.
- Managing relationships with external logistics providers.
- Overseeing inventory management and control.
- Ensuring compliance with industry and safety regulations.
- Reporting on logistical performance to upper management.
- Identifying opportunities for logistics process improvements.
Profile
A successful Deputy Logistics Manager should have:
- Proven experience in a logistics team leader role.
- Strong knowledge of logistics systems and processes.
- Excellent team leadership and management skills.
- Experience of public sector/hospital logistics is an advantage
