As a Fleet Manager/ Fleet Project manager (12 month FTC) you will be responsible for managing a variety of projects relating to the company car fleet. Projects will include Policy changes, Car availability and cost, sustainability (EV's, PHEV etc.). Your role will also encompass the strategic development of fleet procedures and policies.

The Fleet Manager/ Fleet Project manager (12 month FTC) will lead a variety of fleet projects including

  • Review the fleet availability considering choice, Cost and sustainability
  • Manage and oversee the daily operations of the fleet.
  • Develop and implement fleet management policies and procedures including both Company vehicles and Grey fleet.
  • Maintain a high level of safety standards and compliance with regulations.
  • Monitor and analyse data relating to performance of the fleet providers.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
  • Implement cost-saving strategies and efficiency improvements.
  • Manage relationships with suppliers and service providers.
  • Support the Procurement and legal teams with technical fleet knowledge.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and best practices.

Profile

A successful Fleet Manager/ Fleet Project manager (12 month FTC) should have:

  • Proven experience in large scale fleet management 1500+ cars and commercial vehicles.
  • Strong understanding of fleet management software and systems.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Track record of delivering change and innovation in fleet management
  • Data orientated providing evidence to back recommendations
  • Exceptional organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
