LOGISTICS MANAGER - REMOTE WORKING

MONDAY - FRIDAY : 08.30 - 17.30

Day to Day Duties

  • Lead and manage Operations Coordinators for seamless goods pick-up and delivery
  • Oversee relationships with carriers and logistics partners for cost-effective operations
  • Manage third-party partners handling warehouse operations, ensuring high service standards
  • Support Inventory Controllers to ensure accurate stock management and timely replenishments
  • Monitor logistics partners' performance, ensuring SLA compliance and optimizing efficiency
  • Implement strategies to improve logistics, reduce costs, and enhance supply chain performance
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to logistics partners and team members
  • Analyze logistics data for improvements and cost savings
  • Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Operations for organizational alignment
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and logistics partners for optimal cost and quality
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Lead special projects and continuous improvement initiatives for logistics optimization

Essential Skills

  • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or relevant experience
  • Proven experience in managing logistics operations (inbound/outbound, warehousing, inventory)
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure
  • Solid understanding of import/export processes and customs regulations
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills
  • Analytical mindset with a methodical approach to decision-making

Desirable Experience

  • Experience in FMCG logistics management
  • Ability to develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence
