The diverse Team Leader role on offer will be based at Hams Hall and will require the individual(s) to be flexible in all aspects of stock control administration. Your duties may extend to the warehouse, as you will be responsible for stock rectification, system hygiene checks, counting and sequencing, alongside monitoring and driving your team of clerks.Please note that we will only accept applicants with some background in Warehouse Administration / Stock Rectification, ideally with the strength of character to assume a leadership role.Key responsibilities will include:
  • Overseeing a small team and demonstrating a high level of ownership in all works carried out
  • Demonstrating a strong aptitude to learning new computer systems and administrative processes
  • Process all orders for picking and dispatch in a priority sequence
  • Process and monitor internal stock movements
  • Maintain controls for returned and damaged stock
  • Effective communication of issues with both internal departments and external customers
  • The ability to prioritise work duties within a busy environment
  • Perform daily system hygiene checks
  • Prepare stock consolidations to fully utilise Warehouse capacity
  • Clear communication of shift hand-over duties
  • Expedite unresolved matters within a sensible time frame
  • Reconcile stock discrepancies resulting from Perpetual Inventory
  • Investigate potential picking errors
The key requirements of this Stock Control / Admin Team Leader role are as follows:
  • Preferred experience of SAP LES
  • Proven background in motivating and leading team effectively
  • Ability to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and to empower others
  • Highly organised approach to work and ability to prioritise effectively
  • Ability to adapt to change and learn new skills and techniques
  • Effective written and oral communication
  • Effective team player
  • Financial awareness
  • Microsoft Skills: Excel, Word, Outlook. Basic to Intermediate level
  • Flexible approach to working hours
 Hours of work will include the following shifts:0600-14001400-22002200-0600 Whilst the main requirement currently is to position staff onto a rotating 0600-1400 / 1400-2200 shift (alternating weekly), it would be hugely beneficial if applicants can also offer flexibility to work night shifts as & when required.
