About the Company

Our client is a global leader in manufacturing high-quality powered wheelchairs, supplying both the NHS and direct end users. With a focus on innovation and reliability, the company is expanding to a new facility in the Midlands and is seeking a Warehouse Manager to lead daily operations.

The Role

As Warehouse Manager, you will be based at our client’s brand-new premises in the Midlands. You will oversee site management, inventory control, and staff supervision to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations and cleanliness of the warehouse
  • Plan and organize the layout of stock rooms and storage areas
  • Advise staff on handling, storing, and shipping stock
  • Maintain safety guidelines and ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Analyse inventory records and recommend solutions for slow-moving or excess stock
  • Schedule and manage periodic inventories
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Supervise workflow and prepare staff schedules
  • Compile and analyse operational reports
  • Develop and implement efficiency improvements for warehouse procedures
About You

We’re looking for a proactive leader with a passion for logistics and warehouse operations.

  • Requirements
  • A valid UK driving licence
  • Forklift training and certification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in warehouse operations, with supervisory experience
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proficient in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail, etc.)
