Warehouse Supervisor

Seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a leading distribution group. If you are eager to develop and progress your skills and career, this could be the right fit for you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Secure the site at the end of each day in compliance with local regulations.
  • Accurately receive and check goods upon arrival in the warehouse.
  • Collaborate closely with the warehouse and production teams.
  • Manage the control of received goods, "in transit" stock, and dispatched goods.
  • Carry out duties safely, adhering to relevant legislation
  • Keep the warehouse and yard consistently clean and organised, promptly clearing spills and minimising waste.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations in the warehouse department.

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Experience of working within a manual picking environment
  • Understanding of how a transport operation works
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety
  • Be proactive and showcase the ability organise workload
  • Demonstrate good verbal communication, knowledge of a warehouse environment and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to implement good working practices [GWP] and Health and Safety measures.
