Warehouse Supervisor

Seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join a leading distribution group. If you are eager to develop and progress your skills and career, this could be the right fit for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Secure the site at the end of each day in compliance with local regulations.
- Accurately receive and check goods upon arrival in the warehouse.
- Collaborate closely with the warehouse and production teams.
- Manage the control of received goods, "in transit" stock, and dispatched goods.
- Carry out duties safely, adhering to relevant legislation
- Keep the warehouse and yard consistently clean and organised, promptly clearing spills and minimising waste.
- Oversee day-to-day operations in the warehouse department.
Requirements:
- Previous warehouse experience
- Experience of working within a manual picking environment
- Understanding of how a transport operation works
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety
- Be proactive and showcase the ability organise workload
- Demonstrate good verbal communication, knowledge of a warehouse environment and interpersonal skills
- Ability to implement good working practices [GWP] and Health and Safety measures.
