We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Latent Defects Loss Adjusters to join a growing specialist adjusting team. This is a fantastic opportunity for professionals with a background in complex property or latent defects claims to take the next step in their careers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of latent defects claims with technical accuracy and outstanding service delivery
  • Maintain proactive communication with all stakeholders to ensure timely and effective claims resolution
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring empathy and professionalism at every stage of the claims process
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement, sharing insights and contributing to team development
  • Take ownership of complex issues, ensuring they are resolved efficiently and satisfactorily

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience handling complex property or latent defects claims (minimum 2 years preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of latent defects insurance and/or property-related claims handling principles
  • Excellent investigation and negotiation skills, with an ability to assess liability and quantify loss
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, policyholders, contractors, and colleagues
  • Desirable qualifications: Cert CII / Dip CII, Cert/Dip/ACILA, MRICS, CEng, or a relevant surveying or engineering degree
  • Ability to meet deadlines, manage priorities, and work effectively under pressure
  • Happy to travel regularly, with a full UK driving license
