We are currently seeking experienced and motivated Latent Defects Loss Adjusters to join a growing specialist adjusting team. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of latent defects claims with technical accuracy and outstanding service delivery
- Maintain proactive communication with all stakeholders to ensure timely and effective claims resolution
- Deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring empathy and professionalism at every stage of the claims process
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, sharing insights and contributing to team development
- Take ownership of complex issues, ensuring they are resolved efficiently and satisfactorily
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience handling complex property or latent defects claims (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of latent defects insurance and/or property-related claims handling principles
- Excellent investigation and negotiation skills, with an ability to assess liability and quantify loss
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, policyholders, contractors, and colleagues
- Desirable qualifications: Cert CII / Dip CII, Cert/Dip/ACILA, MRICS, CEng, or a relevant surveying or engineering degree
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage priorities, and work effectively under pressure
- Happy to travel regularly, with a full UK driving license
