Our client is actively seeking an Adjuster Assistant to join its Major and Complex Loss (M&CL) Team. You will play a crucial role in supporting M&CL Adjusters by coordinating appointments, managing claims instructions, and organising information for reports and inquiries. This position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with experienced Adjusters and Surveyors in the field, ensuring the efficient handling of complex claims.

As an Adjuster Assistant, you will serve as the first point of contact for claimants and brokers/agents, often dealing with high-value and complex claims. You will be responsible for managing instructions and building strong client relationships based on trust, respect, and prompt resolution of assignments. Your exceptional interpersonal skills will be essential in maintaining these connections and ensuring client satisfaction.

A significant part of the role involves coordinating appointments and diary management, along with handling instructions for emergency work, such as directing contractors. In addition, you will provide support with admin tasks, letters, reports, and technical queries, and have the opportunity to participate in projects and oversee caseloads in the absence of Adjusters.

One of the key impacts of this role is ensuring that claims are managed efficiently, which includes arranging alternative accommodations for claimants when necessary. By proactively managing and challenging building scopes and variations, you will assist in reducing claim lifecycles and associated costs.

The role comes with a host of benefits designed to foster personal and professional growth, including full exam and study support, and clear paths for career advancement. Additionally, the inclusive and supportive workplace culture ensures that all team members feel valued and empowered. You will receive a basic salary up to £32,000 along with a comprehensive benefits package. This is a hybrid opportunity, working from it's Birmingham office.
