We are working on behalf of our client to recruit a talented and proactive Shift Engineering Manager. This role is ideal for an experienced engineering professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

About the Role

As a key part of the leadership team, you will manage and oversee all aspects of engineering operations during your shift. You will ensure the efficient operation of machinery, lead your team to achieve performance targets, and uphold the highest standards of health, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prioritise maintenance tasks to ensure seamless production.
  • Lead and develop your team to maintain high levels of performance and morale.
  • Manage engineering resources, budgets, and contractor activities effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement and minimise downtime through effective fault diagnosis and resolution.
  • Maintain adherence to health and safety regulations and company policies.

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience in a senior engineering role within FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Apprentice-trained or equivalent NVQ Level 3 qualifications.
