Comton Group are pleased to be recruiting for an Maintenance Technician to work out of a successful manufacturing company for the automotive sector based in Tyseley.
Hours:6am - 2pm / 2pm - 10pm
Salary:39,000 - 45,000
You will be responsible for:
- Supervising others on breakdown activities
- Training staff on diagnostics and health and safety of the workplace
- Liaise and supporting staff within the engineering department
- Defining key problematic and costly areas
- Upkeep of machinery and daily checks to ensure they are safe to use
The ideal candidate will:
- Demonstrate problem solving and cost saving mentality
- Have previous experience training and supporting staff
- Be able to read customer drawings and specifications
- Have previous experience carrying out maintenance on manufacturing machinery such as guillotines, mechanical presses, conveyor systems etc
