Shift Pattern: Double Days (6am - 2pm, 10pm - 6am), Monday to Friday
salary 48,000 per annum
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join our dynamic team in Birmingham. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and attending to breakdowns to ensure smooth operations of production machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out electrical and mechanical maintenance on production machinery.
- Perform regular PPM to ensure equipment reliability and performance.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and ensure machinery is quickly restored to operation.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults and implement effective solutions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to enhancing machinery performance.
Requirements:
- Electrical bias with relevant qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work double-day shifts, including early morning and late evening.
