Role: Maintenance Engineer

Salary£52,000 salary, OTE = £60,000+

Overtime Rate: 1.5x and 2x pay.

Location: Birmingham – Witton

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off days and nights.

Holliday Allowance: 33 days per annum

I have an incredible opportunity for a maintenance engineer to work with the largest manufacturer in its industry, leading the market in manufacturing goods through their worldwide network. Our client has over 400+ employees alone at this site due to the magnitude of production being carried out at this site. The client is a multi-billion-pound company and the leading manufacturer in their industry who take pride in taking care of their staff and providing excellent training and employee benefits!

They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer with a friendly approach, positive attitude and an excellent team player who will transition into one of their many vibrant teams with ease.

The role:

The role for the Maintenance Engineer will include carrying out daily task including:

  • Maintaining an organized PPM schedule.
  • Handling reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Preparing handovers and shift reports.
  • Suggesting and implementing continuous improvements.
  • You will be working in a heavy industry environment working on large capital-intensive equipment, conveyors, cranes, presses, heat treatment and vacuum equipment.

The Person:

To be considered for this role you must have the following:

-        Electrical engineering qualifications level 3 and above

-        Apprenticeship Qualified (Desirable but not necessary)

-        Previous experience (Desirable)
