Annual Salary: 47,000 to 50,000
Weekly Shifts: 6am to 6pm / 6pm to 6am - 4 on/off shifts
Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Mechanical Maintenance and repair of rolling mills, slitters and other machinery
- Planning and undertaking scheduled PPM'S (planned preventative maintenance tasks) in relevant timeframes.
- Pro-active to call outs / breakdowns / line stoppages in timescales agreed.
- Diagnosing faults & repairing equipment
- Creating a spare parts solution plan
- Monitor breakdown and repair data using in house computer system
- Encourage continuous improvement and highlight deficiencies
- Attend meeting and training courses as required
- Ensuring that all machinery and equipment runs efficiently at all times with minimum downtime.
- Providing support to maintenance team, including coaching and mentoring staff
- City and Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 5 years plus in a heavy industrial background working
- Read from engineering drawings
