Alliance Personnel is recruiting a maintenance engineer for a client in Birmingham with a salary of up to £40,000 per annum.
The role requires the engineer to conduct maintenance and repair work on-site, including planned inspections and addressing equipment breakdowns.
Candidates should have a proven background in working with steam generators, compressed air, and electrics, preferably within the food manufacturing sector.
The position involves a flexible 8-hour shift from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with 20 days of holiday.
A commitment to responsibility and a positive attitude are essential, along with relevant experience in maintenance engineering.

Alliance Personnel are currently recruiting for maintnance engineer to join one of their clients based in Birmingham.

MAIN DUTIES

To carry out any maintenance & repair work as required on site.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

To be responsible for any maintenance issues within the factory as directed. To conduct site planned maintenance inspections.
To conduct all reasonable repairs on site equipment.
To attend to any equipment breakdown needs to reduce production down time.
To maintain stock holding of spare equipment parts.
To carry out any other duties as and when required.
To be responsible for weekly strip and cleandown of production equipment.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

Must be responsible, committed and positive.
Must have proven experience of working with steam generators, compressed air, electrics,
Food manufacturing background is preferred.

OPERATION SHIFT HOURS

7:00am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday

WORKING HOURS

A flexible 8 hour shift (Monday to Friday) dependant on business needs.

SALARY

Upto 40,000 per annum

20 days holiday
