The right Maintenance Shift Managerwill support the maintenance shift teamwithin a site-based environment while leading a team of a shift leaders, skilled maintenance engineers, and maintenance assistants.

Maintenance Shift Manager

  • Manage the shift team in day-to-day activities
  • Lead while managing customer expectations
  • Ensure that all the site equipment and machinery are maintained, and repaired within the agreed scope
  • Ensuring delivery to always achieve KPI targets
  • Undertake AMHE equipment servicing to the quality standards and time schedules set
  • Compliance with Health & Safety legislation always
  • Always looking for continuous improvement and enhancement opportunities
  • Ensure spares are kept to the levels required
  • Ensure the delivery of key staff processes:
    • Team and individual attendance
    • Staff discipline
    • Staff development is identified through (appraisal)
  • Fully interact with other engineering team leaders to ensure shift consistency while sharing best practices.
  • Qualifications: Maintenance Shift Manager
  • ONC, HNC, HND, BSC OR MSC in engineering
  • Understanding of PLC equipment
