Sonic Summary

The Mechanical Maintenance position involves working on a continental shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, including a half-hour lunch break, on a 4 on 4 off basis for both days and nights.
Candidates are required to have a C+G part 3 or ONC/IHNC qualification, along with time served from an apprenticeship and good competency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Experience with motors, drives, gear motors, reduction gearboxes, and overhead cranes is essential, as well as the ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
The role offers a salary of £40,000 and includes benefits such as a pension of up to 8% and a quarterly bonus.
Duties include conducting inspections and maintenance, responding to breakdowns, reporting parts used, assisting in breakdown analysis, and training apprentices.

Requirements

Duties-

Daily/Weekly/Monthly - inspections and maintenance

Respond to breakdowns

Report parts used from stock to maintain stores stock levels

Assist in the analysis of breakdowns, suggest and implement corrective actions

Modifications to plant

Installation of equipment

Assist in training apprentices
