Role Overview:
We are seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with experience in both electrical and mechanical systems. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant machinery and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. This is a day shift position offering a great work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) on production equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and PLC issues.
  • Ensure machinery operates efficiently and complies with health and safety standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Recognised qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (NVQ, HNC, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or chemical environment.
  • Strong knowledge of PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
