We are working with a wonderful property company based in central Birmingham who are looking for a talented Office Manager/ PA who can cover for a maternity cover. This is a brilliant role and works alongside a part-time receptionist and full-time PA/ office assistant in a great team. You will have a varied role providing PA support to the Directors as well as working with the existing team to help build on their existing procedures and make sure the office runs smoothly. It will be a really varied role and is a great opportunity to join the company at a time where the team is developing and growing.
The team work closely together and this role will form part of the glue that keeps the business running smoothly! From and office management perspective you will be dealing with the purchasing, renewing the insurances and handling the day to day HR (such as contracts, onboarding documentation, inductions and leavers admin) as well as basic health and safety. Alongside this you will work with the team proofreading documents, making sure all their accreditation documentation is up to date and helping pull together the basic tender and RFI info. From the PA side you will support 2 of the newly promoted Directors alongside the other PA. This will require strong diary management and the ability to help them best utilise a PA!
This is a super varied and interesting role that needs someone with good administrative and PA skills and some knowledge of office management or operational duties. As a 12m FTC initially it also allows you to really get your teeth stuck into the role and be part of a fab admin team who work closely to support the business. The firm are able to offer flexible working for either 5 full days or a 4 day week, they may also consider compressed hours over 4 days.
